The global football legend is ready to hang up his boots.
Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Ben Jacobs, who shared the news on his X social media page, Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo, the 40-year-old star of Saudi club Al Nassr, has decided not to extend his contract and will leave the team in the summer of 2027, officially announcing his retirement from professional football.
Reports indicate that Al Nassr's management will try to keep Ronaldo for at least one more season. However, if that proves impossible, the club is prepared to offer him a co-ownership stake, increasing his share in Al Nassr to 15% in a bid to retain the legendary Portuguese icon in Saudi Arabia.
