The Guardian reports that Nottingham Forest, a Premier League club, has been fined for breaching Financial Fair Play rules.

It has been revealed that four points were deducted from Forest's tally due to their infringement. As is known, Premier League teams are allowed to incur losses of £105 million over three years. However, it is reported that Nottingham Forest's allowable losses were restricted to £61 million as they spent two years in the Championship.

Since their return to the Premier League, the "Forest" has signed 42 players, totaling approximately £250 million.

As a result of this decision, Nottingham Forest finds themselves in the relegation zone, enabling Luton to climb in the league table and now holding a one-point advantage over Forest.

It is worth reminding that in the current season, points have already been deducted from one team. Everton initially had ten points deducted, but during the season, four points were reinstated to them.
