Now Thibaut will be busy not only with his football career, but also as a club owner.

Details: Today it was announced that 33-year-old Belgian goalkeeper for Real Madrid, Thibaut Courtois, has officially become a co-owner of French Ligue 2 side Le Mans.

Courtois joins an ownership group featuring such notable names as Novak Djokovic, Felipe Massa, and Kevin Magnussen.

Currently, Le Mans sits 5th in Ligue 2 and is locked in a direct battle for promotion to Ligue 1, trailing the table leaders by just 3 points.

For Real Madrid players, this isn’t the first foray into football club investments. In 2024, Kylian Mbappé became the owner of FC Caen, acquiring 80% of the club’s shares.
