Sekhukhune United's Paulus Masehe cites new players as the reason they lost three times to Orlando Pirates
Paulus Masehe cites Sekhukhune United's rebuilding phase and new players in the fold as the reason they lost tree successive matches to Orlando Pirates.
Masehe's Babina Noko could not score a goal against the Sea Robbers in the MTN8 two-legs and in a PSL match.
They lost 4-0 on aggregate in the Wafa Wafa semi-final and lost a PSL game 1-0.
"Yeah, of course it has never happened in the history of our football club. But you have to understand that this season we are in a transition period whereby we are rebuilding,” said Masehe.
“And we have introduced a whole lot of youngsters. And we let go of a whole lot of experienced players that we had from last season. It’s the period of the team where we are going to suffer a little bit.
“We understand that; hence, we now tend to focus more on the positives than the negatives. Yes, there are lessons to learn from the negatives."
