Abdeslam Ouaddou speaks with joy on Yanela Mbuthuma's splendid display against Sekhukhune United

Abdeslam Ouaddou expressed excitement at Yanela Mbuthuma's contribution this afternoon in Orlando Pirates' 3-0 win over Sekhukhune United.

Mbuthuma has a hand in both Thapelo Mokobodi and Gamphani Lungu goals at Orlando Amstel Arena despite having been heavily criticised by the club fans recently.

In this MTN8 second leg semi-final match in Soweto, Mbuthuma was instrumental in his darting runs and creating space in Babina Noko's defence.

“Sometimes in football you are in a difficult period. Like I said we have to give him confidence, trust him the performance will come. And today he did a good game and we have to continue to help him," said Ouaddou after the game.

“I’m sure he’s the future of Pirates and we cannot kill him. Yeah, it’s not a secret, you know when you feel that you’ve been pushed by your own fans, they give you energy they give you power.
