Orlando Pirates midfielder Simphiwe Selepe happy with how he has fared in three matches against Sekhukhune United

Simphiwe Selepe is on cloud nine.

The Orlando Pirates midfielder's source of joy if the fact that he started all the team's three matches against Sekhukhune United, two-legged MTN8 semi-final match and one PSL match.

Pirates are through to their fifth MTN8 Cup final having beaten Sekhukhune United 3-0 on aggregate and also won a Betway Premiership match 1-0 last Tuesday.

“I think my starting, bows down to the technical coaches putting belief between all of us as players,” said Selepe to the club media.

“Since the season started, I have been pushing myself till now, so it was important for me to grab the opportunity that I was granted.

“It was really important for me to grab that opportunity, because as you know there is quite a few of us in that position. So, when I get an opportunity, I have to grab and hold on to it."
