Mourinho has identified a replacement for his stars. Real Madrid target France international
Real Madrid continue to monitor promising players who could strengthen the squad in the future. According to insider Ekrem Konur, the Madrid club are closely following Roma and France midfielder Manu Koné.
Representatives of the Spanish giants have already attended several of Roma's matches in person. Real Madrid view the 25-year-old as a potential option for strengthening their midfield in the future.
However, the Madrid club do not plan to take any active steps during the current transfer window. Despite interest in Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni from Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea, Real Madrid's management consider their transfer business complete.
Koné joined Roma from Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer of 2024. Before that, the Frenchman also played for Toulouse, progressing from the youth setup to the first team, with the Italian club becoming the next stage of his career.
Real Madrid are therefore only keeping Koné on their radar for now, although their regular scouting of the player points to serious interest in his profile. For the Spanish club, the Frenchman could become one of the options for refreshing their midfield in the future.
