Barcelona are making one final move in their search for attacking reinforcements.

Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are going for Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian has emerged as a late option for the Catalan club as the summer transfer window enters its decisive stage. The report does not indicate that an agreement between the clubs has already been reached or disclose any financial terms.

The timing of Barcelona's interest is particularly notable because Jesus is currently facing an uncertain future in London. Recent reports state that the 29-year-old forward is no longer training with Arsenal's first team and is expected to leave the club before the transfer window closes.

Mikel Arteta has also publicly addressed the Brazilian's situation, explaining that his absence from the main group is connected to the number of players currently available in the Arsenal squad. Jesus has gradually moved away from the manager's primary plans and is entering the final year of his contract with the English champions.

Another indication of his uncertain position came when Jesus was left out of Arsenal's squad for the Community Shield earlier this month. With the Gunners prepared to consider his departure, Barcelona have now appeared among the clubs monitoring the striker's situation.

It is worth noting that Gabriel Jesus made 27 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions last season, scoring six goals and providing one assist.

Reminder: Arteta confirms it! Arsenal forward is leaving the club
