Los Angeles has announced the extension of their contract with legendary French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Details: The new contract for French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with Los Angeles runs until 2026, with an option to extend for another year.

Lloris, who joined the club after a long and successful career in Europe, noted that he feels at home in Los Angeles and fully shares the team's ambitions.

"I'm happy to continue my journey with LAFC. From the very beginning, I felt the ambition of the club and the strong culture among the squad — players, coaches, and fans alike. I came here to compete, play at a high level, and help the club fight for trophies — and this is the perfect environment for me at this stage of my career," the goalkeeper said.

He also added:

I value the trust the club shows me. My family has settled in perfectly in Los Angeles. I'm looking forward to next season and I'm determined to continue giving my all for the team.

It's worth noting that Lloris has been playing for the American club since January 2024. In that time, he has made 45 appearances across all competitions, keeping 15 clean sheets.

Reminder: Los Angeles winger Son Heung-min returned to Tottenham — but only for one evening.
