Bryan Mbeumo opens his Premier League account for the season with a stunning goal

The Cameroonian striker played his part in Manchester United’s resounding victory over Ipswich on 30 August at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils put in a convincing performance on the matchday 2 of the Premier League season as they hosted Ipswich on Sunday 30 August. They ran out 5-2 winners at Old Trafford.

But this victory would not have been possible without Bryan Mbeumo’s contribution. The Cameroonian striker played his part by adding to the tally in the 82nd minute. The Cameroonian international finished off a move of great class, controlling the ball before chipping it over the opposing goalkeeper to make it 5–1.

A goal that drew a standing ovation from the Old Trafford crowd, marking Bryan Mbeumo’s entry onto the Premier League’s 2026–2027 goalscorers’ list. The Cameroonian striker has thus made his mark for the new season after scoring 11 goals for Manchester United in the Premier League last season.
