Reports indicate that, following Casemiro’s departure, Carrick has repeatedly urged club executives to sign a high-caliber midfielder, but his requests have so far fallen on deaf ears. The situation has escalated to the point where Carrick openly told the board that if he doesn’t get a top-class midfield reinforcement for next season, he will leave the club at the end of the campaign.
Michael Carrick was appointed Manchester United’s head coach in May of this year, having previously served as the club’s interim manager. He has overseen 20 matches at the helm of the Red Devils, recording 14 wins, 4 draws, and only 2 defeats.
