Details: According to insider Nicolo Schira, Tottenham is pressing ahead with negotiations for the 21-year-old central midfielder Mateus Fernandes. As previously reported, the Spurs have tabled a €70 million offer for the player—Tottenham is eager to outpace Manchester United, who are also showing strong interest in the Portuguese talent.
The player himself has been offered a contract until 2031, with an option to extend for a further year. The Portuguese midfielder is currently considering the proposal.
In the 2025/26 season, Fernandes featured in 42 matches for the Hammers, netting five goals and providing five assists. According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value stands at €50 million.
