London club Tottenham have officially announced the signing of experienced Slovak goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

Details: The 37-year-old shot-stopper joins the Spurs as a free agent, making this move financially savvy for the North Londoners.

The club’s management view the veteran as a reliable and proven backup, someone who can increase competition between the posts and share his wealth of experience with the younger keepers in the squad.

The player himself could not hide his emotions after putting pen to paper and spoke highly of his new club’s stature:

"Tottenham Hotspur is one of the greatest clubs in the Premier League," Dubravka told the Londoners’ press service.

The Slovak international is expected to join up with the squad from the very start of pre-season training.

Reminder: The star from Como could be heading to Tottenham to continue his career.
