Manchester City are pursuing a Nottingham Forest player and have tabled a huge offer, but the Reds are holding out for an even higher price.
Details: According to David Ornstein, Nottingham Forest have rejected Manchester City's bid for Elliot Anderson. The Premier League champions offered £106 million plus bonuses, with the total package rising above £120 million.
Forest are seeking a British-record guaranteed transfer fee rather than one that reaches that figure only through add-ons. Negotiations have not yet resumed.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest recently confirmed the departure of Willy Boly. The Ivory Coast international, who had been with the Reds since 2022, will now have to find a new club.
As previously reported: Manchester City winger Savio is on the verge of a sensational move to Tottenham Hotspur.
