Middlesbrough are considering Spanish tactician Carlos Corberán as a potential successor to Rob Edwards for the head coach position.
Details: According to journalist Alex Crook, the current Valencia manager is under significant pressure following a string of poor results, with the club having slipped into La Liga's relegation zone.
Corberán is expected to leave Valencia in the coming days, paving the way for a move to the English club.
He took over at Valencia in December 2024. Previously, the Spaniard already gained Championship experience, having managed both West Bromwich and Huddersfield Town. Corberán also had a brief spell in Greece at the helm of Olympiacos.
Reminder: Current Middlesbrough manager Rob Edwards is close to returning to Wolverhampton.
