Dele Alli shocked Tottenham fans! What was the reason?
Former Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli found himself at the center of a hilarious controversy after sharing a photo on social media wearing the shirt of his former club’s fierce rivals.
Details: The ex-footballer put on an Arsenal shirt and appeared in it on social media. The unexpected move, which stunned the football world, came after he lost a bet to popular internet streamer iShowSpeed.
The well-known content creator, who regularly films videos with professional footballers, managed to beat the Englishman in another interactive challenge. The terms of the bet required the loser to wear the Gunners’ kit, forcing Dele Alli to publicly honor his promise.
For Spurs fans, where the midfielder enjoyed the best years of his career, the image was a genuine test of loyalty. While Arsenal supporters greeted the photo with delight and humor, Tottenham fans were quick to voice their tongue-in-cheek outrage in the comments at the ex-favorite’s bizarre transformation.
