Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are closely monitoring the performances of Aston Villa and Japan goalkeeper Zion Suzuki.

Details: According to TEAMtalk, the 24-year-old’s impressive start in the English Premier League has attracted the attention of European giants, who see him as a potential addition to their goalkeeping departments.

In addition to the Madrid and Paris clubs, teams from England’s “Big Six” — Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur — are also closely monitoring the Japanese goalkeeper’s progress. Suzuki’s commanding work on the goal line, outstanding save percentage and impressive distribution with his feet have made him one of the most talked-about goalkeepers on the transfer market this season.

The Birmingham club remains completely calm and has no plans to part ways with its first-choice goalkeeper, who was signed from Parma for £30 million in the summer. With the player under contract until 2031, Aston Villa are in a strong position: the Birmingham side will only allow Suzuki to leave if they receive an offer capable of breaking the world transfer record for a goalkeeper.

This season, the player has made 13 appearances for Villa, keeping three clean sheets and conceding 15 goals. Transfermarkt values the footballer at €30 million.
