CAF Women’s Champions League: kick-off times and venue for Matchday 2 in Group B

Matchday 2 of the group stage of the CAF Women’s Champions League continues this Thursday, 5 November, in Egypt, with two fixtures scheduled in Group B.

The first match will see AS FAR take on USFAS Bamako at 12 pm GMT at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia. Both sides will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing start to the competition.

The Moroccan defending champions were caught off guard by newcomers Kawempe Muslim Ladies (3-2), whilst the Malian side suffered a heavy defeat against Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies (5-1).

The second match will see Ampem Darkoa Ladies take on Kawempe Muslim Ladies at 3 pm GMT, at the same venue. This clash promises to be a particularly closely fought contest between two teams who both started the competition with a win.

The prize on offer is sole control of Group B and a step closer to qualifying for the semi-finals. The slightest slip-up could therefore prove costly.
