CAF Interclub Competitions 2026–2027: here are the countries with the highest number of approved stadiums
With the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup set to begin next September with the preliminary rounds, the Confederation of African Football has identified the countries with stadiums that meet the standards required to host matches.
Several countries have stadiums approved to host the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup. With 16 approved stadiums, Morocco is the country with the highest number of CAF-approved venues. South Africa follows with 13 stadiums, whilst Egypt completes the top three with eight approved stadiums.
Algeria occupies fourth place with seven stadiums, ahead of Mali and Cameroon, which each have five approved stadiums.

- Libya — 3
- Tunisia — 3
- Uganda — 3
- Angola — 2
- DR Congo — 2
Conversely, several countries currently have no CAF-approved stadiums for inter-club competitions. These are Benin, the Central African Republic, Djibouti, Eritrea, Gambia, Lesotho, Madagascar, São Tomé and Príncipe, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia and Sudan.
