Richarlison appears determined to bring his turbulent spell at Tottenham to an end.

Details: According to Globo Esporte, Richarlison's representatives are preparing to seek the termination of his contract with Tottenham so the Brazilian striker can complete a move to Vasco da Gama. The player's camp is unhappy with Spurs' decision to leave him out of their Premier League squad and make him available to the club's U21 team.

The 29-year-old forward wants to return to Brazil and represent Vasco, the club he supported as a child, until December 2026. His desire to make the move has become a key factor in the negotiations.

Richarlison's representatives believe Tottenham should not be able to remove him from the senior team's plans while keeping him tied to his current contract. His lawyers therefore intend to pursue a formal route in an attempt to end the agreement prematurely.

Vasco are still exploring the possibility of reaching an agreement directly with Tottenham, but a permanent transfer remains extremely difficult. The London club are demanding more than £20 million for the Brazilian, a figure the Rio de Janeiro side cannot currently afford.

It is worth noting that Transfermarkt currently estimates Richarlison's market value at €25 million. The Brazilian joined Tottenham from Everton in the summer of 2022.
