2027 AFCON Qualifiers: Mozambique Announces Squad for Senegal and Sudan

Mozambique head coach Chiquinho Conde has announced a 25-man squad for the opening matches of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

The Mambas will begin their Group J campaign at home against continental heavyweights Senegal at the Estádio Nacional do Zimpeto in Maputo before facing Sudan in their second qualifying fixture.

• Midfielders: Ricardo Guimarães, Manuel Kambala, Alfonso Amade, Edson Mucuana, Geny Catamo, Witeness Quembo, Candido Mathe, Gildo Vilanculos.
• Forwards: Stanley Ratifo, Faizal Bangal, Alcides Raice, Chamito Lamborino, Dayo António.
