A great loss for British football.
Details: Today, the official page of English club Wolverhampton on social network X announced the passing of 64-year-old Welsh former head coach of the Wolves, Kenny Jackett.
Eighteen months ago, Jackett announced his retirement from football and left his position as sporting director at Gillingham due to health problems. Today, it has become clear that the illness proved stronger.
Throughout his managerial career, Jackett made his name leading clubs such as Swansea, the Manchester City academy, Millwall, Portsmouth, Rotherham, and Wolverhampton.
As a player, Jackett spent his entire career at a single club—Watford, where he came up through the youth ranks.
Rest in peace, Kenny Jackett.
