Radical Move. Real Madrid president dissatisfied with Ancelotti and pushes for Alonso’s arrival

Carlo Ancelotti has been managing Real Madrid since 2021, during which time he has led the team to multiple trophies. However, this tenure may soon come to an end, as Los Blancos president Florentino Pérez has ordered negotiations to begin for Xabi Alonso’s transition to Madrid.

Details: Following yesterday’s humiliating defeat to Barcelona in El Clásico, Pérez visited the dressing room to gauge the team’s mood.
Afterward, he directed the club to initiate efforts for Bayer Leverkusen’s head coach Xabi Alonso to take over next summer. According to Sport, Pérez feels Ancelotti’s era has reached its natural conclusion.
Despite extending Ancelotti’s contract last season, Pérez harbored concerns about the Italian's age but was reassured by his commitment and vitality. Ancelotti also assured Pérez that with Kylian Mbappé’s rumored arrival, Madrid would become unbeatable, adding that Toni Kroos’s departure would not weaken the team, given its balanced roster. Yet, events have apparently diverged from Ancelotti's vision.
