The German superclub has virtually resolved the key issue concerning the long-term future of its leading goalscorer.

Details: A major breakthrough has been reached in negotiations between Bayern Munich and 33-year-old England striker Harry Kane over a new contract. This was reported by the German division of Sky Sport.

Dialogue between the club’s management and representatives of the world-class forward has entered its final stage. A new employment contract running until the summer of 2029 has been prepared for the England captain, who is among the leading contenders for the Ballon d’Or. From the outset, the striker had been intent on continuing his career in Munich and had expressed his full willingness to remain at the club.

The parties are currently finalising the details of the agreement. An exact date for the official signing has not yet been set, but an agreement on all key points guarantees that the deal will be announced soon.

It is worth noting that Harry Kane joined Bayern from London club Tottenham in the summer of 2023 for €95 million, breaking the scoring record for a debut season in the German Bundesliga and establishing himself as the leading goalscorer in the history of the England national team.
