Patrice Evra has shared heartbreaking news with his followers.

Details: Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has announced the death of his mother, Juliette. The Frenchman appeared deeply emotional as he spoke about the loss and paid tribute to the woman he described as his rock.

Evra said:

“I lost my ROCK, but I’m trying to stay positive. To everyone who still has their mum, tell them you LOVE them every single day before they leave. A mother’s love is FOREVER. Rest in peace, Maman. You will always be in my heart.”

The former left-back struggled to hold back tears while delivering the message. Rather than focusing only on his own grief, Evra also urged everyone who still has their mother to tell her how much they love her and to cherish every day together.

It is worth noting that Evra is one of Manchester United’s most decorated players of his generation. He made 379 appearances for the club after arriving from Monaco in 2006, winning five Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2008.
