Deal done! Real Madrid hero and European champion Joselu finds a new club in Qatar

The experienced Spanish goalscorer will continue his professional career in the Middle East after switching teams.

Details: Former Real Madrid and Spain striker Joselu will continue his career with Qatari club Al-Sailiya. The contract with the experienced forward has been fully agreed, and the deal is done. This was reported by renowned transfer insider Matteo Moretto.

The Spanish veteran has joined his new team as a free agent after leaving another Qatari side, Al-Gharafa. Al-Sailiya's management is counting on the striker's outstanding skill, composure in the box and vast international experience to significantly boost the club's attacking potential.

The parties have finalized the remaining details of the contract, and the player's official presentation will take place in the coming days. The footballer himself is determined to become a key figure in the team's frontline.

It is worth noting that Joselu secured a permanent place in Real Madrid's history thanks to his dramatic brace in the closing minutes of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich. That same summer, he became a European champion with Spain at the tournament in Germany.
