Priorities set. Barcelona not looking to rush Rashford transfer

The future of Marcus Rashford remains uncertain after he fell out of favor with manager Ruben Amorim at Manchester United and spent the second half of the season on loan at Aston Villa.
The £40 million buyout clause has yet to be activated, and Rashford himself is leaning towards a move to Barcelona. However, selling the player to the Catalan club, which is facing financial difficulties, is far from a straightforward deal.
According to GiveMeSport, Barcelona is considering a loan move for Rashford, and only if he becomes available closer to the end of the summer transfer window. The Catalans are currently more interested in signing Luis Diaz from Liverpool and are in no hurry to open talks for Rashford.

At the same time, Barcelona is counting on Rashford’s strong desire to join them to make him turn down other offers. The forward still has three years left on his contract with Manchester United, and reducing his high wages is one of the key tasks for improving the club’s financial health, which is why he will be starting the new season away from Old Trafford.
