Police forced to open fire as Sevilla fans storm club base after Celta defeat

Sevilla fans voiced their frustration over the team's lackluster performance in the La Liga matchday 35 clash against Celta. Despite having a man advantage, the Andalusians failed to take any points from Vigo, sparking outrage among the supporters.
According to Marca, furious fans waited for the team at San Pablo airport, hoping to confront both players and management face-to-face. However, the squad left the airport without meeting the crowd. This led hundreds of fans to gather outside the club's training base.
The team bus arrived under heavy police and Civil Guard escort. The protest quickly spiraled out of control — fans pelted the bus with eggs and hurled insults at the players. In order to contain the situation, police were forced to fire rubber bullets into the air.
The supporters' anger was especially directed at president José Castro, with many demanding his resignation. Some even attempted to break through the barriers and storm the premises. Due to the escalating situation, the team was forced to spend the night at the training complex.
