OFFICIALLY. Tottenham announced the signing of Bournemouth's best striker of the previous season

After numerous rumors about a possible transfer of Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth, the matter has finally been settled. Today, Tottenham and Bournemouth officially announced the player's transfer.

The exact details of Solanke's contract with Spurs, as well as the transfer fee, have not been fully disclosed. However, according to previous information from The Athletic, the deal was expected to be around £65 million, which was the release clause stipulated in Solanke's contract. It is also anticipated that the contract was signed for a five-year term.

Dominic Solanke is a product of Chelsea's youth academy. He had a stint in the Netherlands before returning to the Blues and later moved on to Liverpool. Solanke joined Bournemouth in 2018 for €21.2 million.

Last season, the English forward scored nineteen goals in 38 Premier League matches, making him the fourth-highest scorer in England's top division.
