Liverpool are stepping up their search for midfield reinforcements, with two potential signings emerging as leading candidates.

Details: According to Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool have added Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara and Bournemouth's Alex Scott to their shortlist of central midfield targets. Both players are being considered as possible additions to the Reds' squad.

The two midfielders currently represent clubs in different leagues. Senegal international Camara plays for Monaco in France's Ligue 1, while English midfielder Scott represents Bournemouth in the Premier League. Both are among the names Liverpool are monitoring as they assess their options in the centre of the pitch.

Another player attracting attention at Anfield is Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha. Liverpool reportedly hold the German international in high regard and have recently been in contact with his representatives.

However, Nmecha is not currently considered a priority target. According to Sky Sport Germany, Liverpool are not preparing a concrete transfer offensive for the Dortmund player, with Camara and Scott currently higher on their list.

It's worth noting that Nmecha joined Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023, and his current contract with the Bundesliga club runs until 2030.
