London club West Ham are seriously considering the possibility of dismissing head coach Nuno Espírito Santo before the end of his contract due to the team’s underwhelming start to the season.

Details: According to British outlet SunSport, the club’s hierarchy are rapidly losing patience amid a string of lacklustre results in the Championship, where the Londoners have managed just two wins in their last six matches. Following relegation from the top flight, the Hammers were regarded as the leading candidates for an immediate return to the elite, but their current league form now threatens to derail the ambitious plans of the club’s owners.

It is worth noting that the Portuguese coach initially wanted to leave London Stadium last summer, immediately after the club’s relegation from the Premier League. Nevertheless, he managed to convince the board to entrust him with the mission of returning the club to the upper echelons of English football. However, the team’s lack of consistency has once again pushed the manager to the brink of dismissal.

Nuno Espírito Santo has vast experience of working in English football, having previously guided Wolverhampton into European competition and also managed Tottenham and Nottingham Forest.
