Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian international and Liverpool forward, has long been open about his passion for reading, especially in the field of psychology. Recently, he sparked a wave of criticism after opting out of Egypt's matches against Cape Verde and Botswana in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Still, Salah surprised the fans by attending a session at the Sharjah International Book Fair.
At the event, Salah responded to the negative comments by saying: "I don't care what people think about my personal life. I love everything I do, regardless of what others say. I live my life the way I choose, not the way others want me to.”
Salah also used the chance to suggest that fans read psychology books, explaining that knowing more about the mind helps in handling your own feelings and dealing with others. Like "Who Are the Psychopaths?" and "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck," he recommended books that he has already recommended to his fans.
Salah is currently focusing on his training with Liverpool in order to prepare for their next Premier League matchup with Southampton.
