Gavin Hunt is unhappy with the state of fitness defender Given Msimango arrived in at Stellenbosch FC.
The former Kaizer Chiefs defender joined Stellies from Amakhosi in a swap deal which saw talismanic midfielder, Langelihle Phili, move to Chiefs.
But after his debut at against Durban City, Hunt has lamented the player's physical state.
"I should have protected him in the last 20 minutes, which I did,” said Hunt.
“He did well, I believe he was good, he’ll be good for us. But obviously he hasn’t been fit. He came here very unfit.”
Hunt will be hoping Msimango is in a better shape this Friday night when they face Sekhukhune United in a PSL game.
