On the night of Tuesday, June 25, the Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup. This marks the team's first title in history. However, another incredible story emerged following this victory.

A few months ago, a photograph of a young Jayson Tatum, now playing for the Boston Celtics, alongside Matthew Tkachuk, who plays for the Florida Panthers, circulated widely.

The likely origin of the photo is a school bus in St. Louis—Jayson and Matthew both attended Chaminade College Preparatory School. Tatum was born in St. Louis, while Matthew lived there while his father played for the local hockey team, the St. Louis Blues.

Both athletes became champions of their respective leagues this month. Tatum won the NBA playoffs with the Boston Celtics, while Matthew Tkachuk secured the 2024 Stanley Cup.

Additionally, it's worth noting that Florida Panthers' captain Aleksander Barkov became the first Finn in Stanley Cup history to lift the trophy. Until now, no Finnish player had achieved this unique feat.
