However, according to Gaston Edul, medical clearance has been granted for Messi to participate in this crucial match. It is expected that the global football legend will feature in the starting lineup.

It is noteworthy that Messi, for the first time in his career, completed the group stage of a major international tournament without scoring a goal. Nonetheless, the Inter Miami forward contributed with an assist in the opening match against Canada (2-0).
