With the launching of the new National Technical Football Center (CTNF) in Bingerville, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire's football future took a huge step ahead. This $4.3 million initiative, which was made possible by FIFA's Forward program, is expected to change how Ivorian coaches and players prepare.

Modern amenities such as a medical facility, a 400-square-meter gym, training spaces, apartments, and updated swimming pools will be provided by the CTNF. The institution will be devoted to the development of both male and female youngsters and will act as the center for Ivorian national teams.

The project, which FIFA President Gianni Infantino described as a "sign of hope and opportunity," has the potential to help African football flourish internationally. He added that the CTNF (Centre Technique National de Football) would be essential for preparing football players, coaches, and supporters for international competitions when it has been completely renovated.

The event was attended by Yacine Idriss Diallo, President of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF), along with important figures in African football like Samuel Eto’o from Cameroon and Ibrahim Musa Gusau from Nigeria. Their presence showed strong support from across Africa for this major project.

The CTNF is part of FIFA’s larger plan to improve football facilities worldwide, with $5 billion set aside for development projects to be finished by 2026. This renovation is a big step forward in shaping the future of African football, with Côte d'Ivoire leading the way.
