Nottingham Forest has officially announced the appointment of Vítor Pereira as their new head coach. The Portuguese tactician has signed an 18-month contract, running through to the summer of 2027, according to the club’s statement.
Remarkably, the Portuguese manager becomes Forest’s fourth coach this season. Previously, Ange Postecoglou, Nuno Espírito Santo, and Sean Dyche were all dismissed. This marks an unprecedented event in Premier League history—no club has ever made so many managerial changes in a single campaign.
Over his career, Pereira has managed a string of notable clubs, including Porto, Al-Ahli, Fenerbahçe, Santa Clara, Al-Shabab, 1860 Munich, Shanghai SIPG, Corinthians, Flamengo, and Wolverhampton—where he was dismissed earlier this season due to unsatisfactory results.
