Liverpool striker Alexander Isak, who was sidelined in December after a collision with Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven, is aiming to make his comeback by the March international break. The 26-year-old Swede suffered a leg fracture and underwent surgery on his ankle and fibula, which has kept him out of action for several months.
Recent club photos show Isak training individually at the club's facility, working out in the gym and performing light football drills. Sweden head coach Graham Potter is hopeful that Isak will be available for the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Ukraine on March 26, according to the Mirror.
Potter previously stressed that recovery from such injuries is a long and challenging process, but there is a chance for Isak's return. This season, Isak has scored 3 goals in 16 club appearances.
