Fair call? Referee disallows controversial Mac Allister goal against Nottingham Forest

Liverpool nearly dropped points in their Matchweek 27 Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest. The game ended with a narrow win for the Reds, but the final minutes were loaded with drama.

In the 89th minute, a Liverpool attack culminated in the ball finding the back of the net, but the goal was later chalked off by the referee. As a Forest defender tried to clear, the ball ricocheted off Alexis Mac Allister. After checking the replay, Anthony Taylor spotted that the ball had hit the Argentine's hand and ruled out the goal.
