Bournemouth identify replacements for Huijsen and Kerkez

This summer, a significant cash injection is heading to Bournemouth. Dean Huijsen has already been sold to Real Madrid, while his teammate Milos Kerkez is preparing to leave the Vitality Stadium for a move to Liverpool. This substantial influx of investment will allow the Cherries to adequately replace these departing players.
Details: According to Santi Aouna, Bournemouth have already submitted offers for Rennes’ Adrien Truffert and Bologna’s Jhon Lucumí. The former is being targeted as Kerkez’s replacement, while the latter is set to fill the void left by Huijsen. Both transfers are valued in the range of €15–20 million.

Total expenditure of €30–40 million is actually a modest outlay compared to the windfall Bournemouth will receive from the sales of Huijsen and Kerkez. The former will bring in €60 million for the Cherries, while the latter is set to fetch around €45 million in the same currency.
For the record: Truffert finished last season with three goals and two assists in 35 appearances, while Lucumí featured in 44 matches during the last campaign, playing a key role in Bologna’s Italian Cup triumph.
