Financial difficulties have forced Barcelona's management to tighten their belts on virtually everything.
Details: Writer and journalist Sebastian Staszewski, who assisted Robert Lewandowski in penning his autobiographical book, shared insights into the Polish striker's early days at Barça, including a humorous episode that took place with Robert in Florida during the team's training camp.

The story goes that during his very first lunch at the club canteen, Robert noticed there were no fish or meat dishes on the menu. When he asked the club chef about this, he was told that meat and fish were simply too expensive and the club needed to save money.
Given Robert's particular approach to nutrition, Barcelona had no choice but to bring meat and fish dishes back to the menu.
Lewandowski joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022 and has since played 161 matches, netting 109 goals and providing 20 assists. His current contract with Barça runs until the summer of 2026, and his market value is estimated at 10 million euros by Transfermarkt.
Reminder: A revelation that's hard to believe. Barcelona asked Lewandowski to stop scoring so they wouldn't have to pay Bayern a bonus
