What's going on? Arteta could take charge of a La Liga club!
Barcelona are already keeping an eye on what could come after the Hansi Flick era.
Details: According to journalist Graeme Bailey, Barcelona still believe Mikel Arteta could become their head coach one day after Hansi Flick leaves the position. The Arsenal manager is reportedly viewed inside the Catalan club as a long-term option for the future rather than a candidate for an immediate change.

Arteta, meanwhile, remains the head coach of Arsenal. TEAMtalk reported on September 4 that the London club have been working on a new agreement with the Spaniard and that discussions have progressed positively. His current contract is due to expire at the end of the 2026/27 season, meaning Arsenal are keen to secure his long-term future.
The Barcelona connection is also a familiar one for Arteta. The Spanish coach spent part of his development in the Catalan club's academy before beginning his senior career away from Camp Nou. It is worth noting that Arteta has been in charge of Arsenal since December 2019 and is now approaching seven years at the helm of the London club.
