The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris are about to begin, and among many sports, football teams will compete for the gold medals.

According to TNT Sports, the Argentine national team has named three players over the age of 23 who will participate in the Olympic football tournament. They are 32-year-old Ajax goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli, 36-year-old Benfica defender Nicolas Otamendi, and 24-year-old Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez.

Argentina will play in Group B, alongside the national teams of Morocco, Iraq, and Ukraine.

The football competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics will take place in Paris and six other cities in France from July 24 to August 10, 2024. In addition to Paris, matches will be held in Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Nantes, Nice, and Saint-Etienne.

Men's teams will consist of players under 23 years old (born after January 1, 2001), with up to three players allowed to be older than this age limit.
