Chelsea will not release two of its footballers for the Olympics

This summer, in addition to the Euros, a football tournament will take place at the Olympics. Many footballers want to compete in Paris, but not all clubs are willing to release their stars.
According to the DailyMail, Chelsea has refused to release midfielder Enzo Fernandez to Argentina and winger Mykhailo Mudryk to Ukraine for the Olympics. The club does not want the players to miss the crucial stage of preseason preparation under the guidance of the new head coach, Enzo Maresca.
The head coach wants to have all available players at his disposal. Additionally, Chelsea aims to avoid the additional risk of injuries.
Furthermore, Manchester United has declined to release Alejandro Garnacho to Argentina.
It's worth noting that Chelsea has appointed a new head coach for the upcoming season. As reported by the club's press service, Enzo Maresca will lead the first team. He has signed a five-year contract with the club. Chelsea has also paid Leicester a compensation fee of €8 million.
