Ivorian Ligue 1: Yamoussoukro FC beat FC Mouna to make it two wins in a row

The Rams have kept a clean sheet since the start of the 2026–2027 season of the Ivorian professional league.

Following their 1-0 victory over reigning champions ASEC Mimosas in the season opener, Yamoussoukro FC secured another win away in Abidjan on Tuesday 6 October as part of the second matchday of the Ivorian Ligue 1. The newly promoted side to the top flight of Ivorian football went on to win 2-0 against FC Mouna at the Bingerville Sports Complex.

The visitors gave the home side no chance throughout the match. Jaurès Diomandé opened the scoring in the 11th minute to give the Rams a 1-0 lead. Despite this early goal, it was not until the second half that the score changed.
