Zverev secures victory in his first match at Wimbledon 2024

On Tuesday, July 2, the first-round matches of the Wimbledon 2024 tournament continued. The world's fourth-ranked player, Alexander Zverev, faced Baena Carballés.

Zverev did not start the match convincingly and was trailing his opponent for a while. However, he managed to turn around the first set and won it 6-2. Baena Carballés again started the second set better, but Zverev regrouped to take the match to 2-0.

In the third set, Alexander repeated the first set's score of 6-2, securing a convincing victory in his opening match at Wimbledon with a 3-0 win. In the next round, Zverev will play against the winner of the Searle/Giron match.
