The legendary former eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao has named the hardest puncher he ever faced in the ring.

According to PacMan, the strongest punch he received was from Miguel Cotto.

"I still feel some of those punches he landed on me. Staying on the ropes is not the best place to be when you fight him. He's also accurate. He's incredible," Pacquiao told SecondsOut.

Pacquiao fought Cotto in 2009 for his WBO welterweight title, and PacMan won by technical knockout in the final round.

On July 28, the Super Rizin 3 boxing event is set to feature the legendary Pacquiao.

Initially, PacMan was scheduled to box against Japanese MMA fighter Chihiro Suzuki. However, Suzuki sustained an injury in an exhibition match against compatriot Takanori Gomi and will miss the July 28 bout.

Nonetheless, the 45-year-old Pacquiao will still perform at the Super Rizin 3 boxing event – his opponent will be another Japanese fighter, kickboxer Rukiya Anpo. The fight is contracted for 3 rounds of 3 minutes each at a weight limit of 69 kg.
