Shocking statistic. Inter Miami are virtually incapable of winning without Messi

Yesterday, Inter Miami was defeated by Montreal (2:3) in an MLS match, with the legendary Lionel Messi notably absent from the roster, as the coaching staff opted to afford him respite.

Analysts computed the percentage of victories and defeats for David Beckham's club in MLS matches with Messi on the field and in games where he did not participate. The disparity is truly astonishing.

Inter Miami secured victory in 55.6% of MLS matches with Messi in their ranks. Without the Argentine superstar, this figure plummeted to a mere 12.5%.

It is worth recalling that immediately following Messi's transfer, Inter Miami competed in the Champions Cup, a playoff-style tournament featuring representatives from the United States and Mexico. Beckham's club managed to clinch the title in this competition.
