Boom! Arne Slot could make a sensational Premier League return
Arne Slot could be on his way back to the Premier League as Newcastle consider a major change in the dugout.
Details: According to Indykaila News, Newcastle United have reportedly held an emergency meeting to discuss the future of head coach Matthias Jaissle. The club's management is actively exploring the possibility of replacing the German specialist following a disappointing run of results.
Sources indicate that Newcastle have already made contact with former Liverpool manager Arne Slot regarding the possibility of taking charge at St James' Park. However, convincing the Dutchman to accept the position is understood to be a significant challenge.
Despite the difficulties, the Magpies remain hopeful of securing Slot's services. No agreement has been reported, and Jaissle remains in charge of the team.
Newcastle's situation has become increasingly complicated after two consecutive defeats against Everton. The Magpies lost 3-1 in the Carabao Cup before suffering a 1-0 home defeat in the Premier League on November 2. The club currently sits 13th in the league table with 11 points from nine matches.
It is worth noting that Slot left Liverpool on May 30, 2026, after two seasons in charge. The Dutchman led the Reds to the Premier League title in the 2024/25 campaign, securing the club's 20th English top-flight championship.
