In the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, Real Sociedad will play host to PSG at home. The initial match in Paris concluded with a victory for Luis Enrique's team, finishing 2-0.

Compared to the Paris fixture, Real Sociedad will now have the services of their captain and pivotal attacking midfielder Mikel Oyarzabal. Additionally, striker Sheraldo Becker has recovered.

However, central defender Aritz Elustondo, right-back Alvaro Odriozola, winger Ander Barrenetxea, left-back Aihen Munoz, and forward Carlos Fernandez will be absent from the match.

PSG approaches the game in San Sebastian without any new setbacks. Effectively, the participation of attacking midfielder Marco Asensio is the only uncertainty.

All other absentees for Luis Enrique are not novel. PSG will be without Presnel Kimpembe, Danilo Pereira, Milan Skriniar, and Layvin Kurzawa.

It is anticipated that Portuguese left-back Nuno Mendes will return to PSG's starting lineup.

Within the PSG context, much discussion revolves around Kylian Mbappe, whom the head coach substituted during the halftime break in the previous match against Monaco (0:0). The French press speculates a conflict between the star striker and the Spanish coach. Luis Enrique, on the other hand, explains this as the team needing to learn to play without Mbappe.

Possible Real Sociedad line-up

  • Alex Remiro – Hamari Traore, Zubeldia, Le Normand, Galan – Brais Mendes, Zubimendi, Merino – Kubo, Andre Silva, Oyarzabal

Possible PSG Llne-up

  • Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Lucas Hernandez, Nuno Mendes – Zaire-Emery, Ugarte, Verratti – Dembele, Mbappe, Barcola
